Our silver and gold leaf mirrors are handmade by specialist Italian mirror craftsmen using traditional methods and materials.

This gives us gorgeous mirrors which are new but have an aged, antique finish and timeless feel. Silver and gold leaf provide a lustre and patina which is unique to each individual mirror. The mirror glass used is made in Italy - of the best quality and bevelled in all but the simplest of styles.

We have found that most other brands of mirrors made in Asia or here in New Zealand use a combination of picture framing, gold or silver paint and inferior glass to create their mirrors. There is a noticeable quality difference between Luminoso's mirrors and those offered by our competitors.
